Keeping St. Louis Clean and Green
At Trash for Trees, our goal is simple: reduce trash in our community while re-introducing our diminishing native trees into urban environments. With our incredible and dedicated volunteers, we're fostering greener spaces and educating our neighbors for a brighter, cleaner future.

Our mission
At Trash for Trees, we partner with local businesses in St. Louis, Missouri to transform communities one tree at a time. Through sponsorship, we plant trees in residents' yards, enhancing our environment, and fostering greener spaces. With our group of dedicated volunteers, we aim to clean up neighborhoods and educate our fellow community members, all while bringing back our area's essential native trees. Together, we're cultivating a greener, cleaner future for all.
For 2024, if you are a homeowner in the Boulevard Heights, Carondelet, Holly Hills, or Patch neighborhoods, you are eligible for up to 3 free trees. Trees get planted in front or back yards (not the tree lawn - grass in between sidewalk and street). Check out our available trees here to get started.
If you’re a business interested in becoming a sponsor, drop us a line at contact@trashfortrees.com
